MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONERS AND ALLIED MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS TO HEAR ADVANCED DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUES IN DIAGNOSING MENTAL ILLNESS
Annual education summit, this year at Chios Psychologists Association, will examine the concept of symptom clustering as an aid to Diagnostics. Xios — Michael Kasdaglis, Dcsw, president of The American Board of Mental Health Diagnostics will be on hand on June 12, 2017 to lead a seminar addressing the need for improvements in diagnosing and differentiating between a variety of mental health conditions. The main question and objective is to review the possibility that a “profile” can be developed within 15 to 20 minutes during a face to face interview. Additionally, to delve into appropriate multidisciplinary comprehensive report formats that set the stage for a more extensive and actionable diagnostic process. Considering that long before one seeks assistance from a psychiatrist, psychologist, or other professional, they sought advice from a doctor, a nurse, a teacher, or even a priest. It would be advisable, if not necessary that these professionals have some rudimentary understanding of what it is they are looking at. Implied in that is a belief that this seminar may be not only be of great assistance to Psychologists, but also to anyone within the allied medical health, educational, and spiritual areas of practice.
